Quote of the day

I saw this quote at http://www.searchquotes.com/quotes/about/Things_Happen_For_A_Reason/, when I read this, I can feel it and it is so meaningful.

Remember that things happen for a reason and if it was meant to be..It would'nt have ended...we should not cry cuz it's gone... we should be happy that it happened. Many people touch our lives in different ways..some come for a while, others stay for a reason and show us their magnificent essence for a purpose and then leave...and then there's the people that stay forever, which ultimately are the ones that count...so smile and cheer up.

Forgiveness

by Wafa Omar

Today, I realised how forgiveness can influence our life. I mean that; when we start to forgive people, we start to move on.  We should not keep our anger towards a particular person, or anyone, because if we do, there will be a tiny black spot in our heart.  And then, it will affect our health and maybe it can lead to cancer if we hate people too much. My dad once told me, don’t waste time getting mad to people, because they sometimes don’t bother about us and we are just wasting our time stressing out because of them, but then they are having fun outside. Therefore, maybe we should just forgive and forget.  That’s it! That is the only solution to make ourselves happy. To be young, we should be happy. Happy and Happy J.

As I love to read quotations, I would like to share some quotations that may help us to forgive others.
p/s Quotations are my all time favourite reading materials.

Anger makes you smaller, while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you were.
Cherie Carter-Scott

There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.
Josh Billings

If you haven't forgiven yourself something, how can you forgive others?
Dolores Huerta

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
Mahatma Gandhi

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.
Oscar Wilde

Forgiveness is the healing of wounds caused by another. You choose to let go of a past wrong and no longer be hurt by it. Forgiveness is a strong move to make, like turning your shoulders sideways to walk quickly on a crowded sidewalk. It's your move.
Real Live Preacher

It really doesn't matter if the person who hurt you deserves to be forgiven. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. You have things to do and you want to move on.

A warm welcome

by Wafa Omar

Hello. This is my first time writing as a blogger. So, for the first time, I'll tell a bit about people that are important in my life and brief about me.

First thing first, let me start by introducing about myself. Currently, I am still studying. I am taking Bachelor of Applied Language Studies (Honours) English for Professional Communication. I have a wonderful family, I am not married yet ok :) I have parents that always pray for me and encourage me to do anything that would make my life easier and success. I have one older brother, and yet will become an engineer. He’s a good guy. Maybe next year he will get married. Who knows? :) He has a girlfriend but then I don’t know her well. I hope she knows how to take care of my brother. If not, I’ll do something as revenge :D Be prepared sister in law! Hahaha. I won’t do that la!  The next person that often fight with me about, whose going to clean the kitchen, do laundry, who borrow whose cloth and so on is of course, my younger sister. She is still studying like me, Actuarial Science. She is really good in add math.  Oh yeah, what I am jealous about her is that, my parents pamper her a lot. Spoil kid! That’s part of my stories about my beloved family.

Now, I’ll introduce you to the love of my life, Muhammad Izzat. I won’t say much right now about him because he will be the most frequent entries in this blog. I hope not. If he knows, he will be so proud and thinks that I am too obsessed about him. I am so not ok :P I hope I won’t talk much about him. Please remind me. Hehehe. But, I think, just let time decide what I’ll write ok :)

Now, I am still in my four months break, which is my first time experiencing this long break. You know why right? This is due to the government that wanted to standardise with overseas, but only degree students got affected. Anyway, it is fun actually; I got to work at ELLE and starting to be an English Tutor. I started to realise how wonderful studying is comparing to working life. I know I will be working next year but I think I like reading, writing, thinking that there is lot to explore and learn new things. I also started to get answers from Allah which industry that I am patient in, what I will do in my future, and so on. This break is the most valuable time that I have. I enjoy it!

That’s a bit about my life. I’ll be writing again :) Have fun and always remember Allah :)
